30 Day Warranty on the mailbox itself or any new non-wood mailbox and post combo. If your actual mailbox or non-wood mailbox and post combination fails within 30 days we will come and repair or replace it for free! 90 Day Warranty on the construction of any new post we install for you. This warranty covers the actual wood post structure in the event it fails. This does not cover any cracking (called checking) splitting (also called checking) or warping that naturally occurs in outdoor wood products. Big Dicks does its best to select wood stock with minimal defects however extreme weather can cause wood to crack, split or warp prematurely.
90 Day Warranty on our installation services meaning if for some reason our installation fails within 90 days we will come and fix it for free!
Exclusions: Our guarantee does not cover damages due to accidents, vandalism or acts of God. Good news though, if your new mailbox or post becomes damaged by an accident, act of vandalism or act of God within our Guarantee time frames we can offer discount services to replace or repair it. Also, we cannot offer any guarantee against cracks, splits or warped wooden mailbox posts. While Big Dicks tries to select the finest posts with the least imperfections, wood naturally develops cracks or splits (called checking) and can warp due to exposure to the elements of Mother Nature. We do offer sealants and stains for all of our cedar post installations which can minimize these effects. On cedar posts where a light colored stain is applied, some bleeding may occur from natural tannins in the wood,
